Galaxy Knitwear is a well-established, family run business, that has been trading since 1994. Our introduction to knitwear manufacturing began with the production of menswear. We have since grown to produce ladies, children's and home-wear for high street stores, online retailers, independent designers and wholesalers.
We have a highly experienced team of knitters, machinists and examiners who thrive on giving 100% and ensure that all our garments are manufactured to a high quality. Their knowledge and expertise, along with modern machinery, allows us to produce quality products.
Our merchandise ranges from jumpers, cardigans, shrugs, waistcoats, leggings, skirts and accessories such as scarves, snoods, capes, shawls and hats. We design develop and produce fashion to enable us to provide the best for our customers.
We understand that the fashion world is constantly changing and our customers want the products manufactured and delivered as quickly as possible. Our aim is to ensure that we cater for those needs and quote competitive delivery times.
It is our fast approach, from the sampling process to delivery, that is key to our successful manufacturing, whilst always maintaining our most important objective: Quality.

Galaxy have been a proud Sedex Member for over 15 years and have a SMETA audit completed on a annual basis.
A SMETA audit is one of the most widely used social audit procedures in the world. It provides a globally-recognised way to assess responsible supply chain activities, including labour rights, health & safety, the environment and business ethics.
Galaxy are also a Fast Forward Member and the programme is deisgned to assist with next generation labour standards and improvements. Fast Forward uniquely combines a proven forensic auditing methodology with a collaborative beyond audit programme to support suppliers and brands to continuously improve.
